National Energy Efficiency Authority
National Energy Efficiency Authority has a role of energy efficiency agency that has information on all activities in the field of energy efficiency in Croatia. It has a database with all achieved savings, which is a key tool for reporting and defining of new measures that are necessary for achieving national energy efficiency objective.
The main activities of National Energy Efficiency Authority are:
- Planning: making of National Energy Efficiency Action Plans
- Coordinating activities with all institutions included in energy efficiency policy
- Measuring: systematic monitoring of implementation through System for measuring and verifying energy savings (SMiV)
- Reporting to Ministry, Government of the Republic of Croatia and European Commission on achieved results
- Cooperation with national and international institutions, especially the EU institutions
- Promotion of energy efficiency on a national level, informing the public about plans, achieved measures and their effects
